Myth: Eating donuts is obligatory during Chanukah.
Fact: No it isn’t.
The Shulchan Aruch is strangely silent on the question of eating donuts. We must conclude that it is not obligatory.
Bonus Fact: Eating donuts during Chanukah is fun. You should do it even if it is not obligatory.
